In the centrally located little town of Woerden, with its rich historical past and recent archeological discoveries from Roman times the cozy and hospitable “Brink Bed & Breakfast” is located. B3 is close to the center of town, near the railroad station which connects Woerden with the larger coastal cities along the Western seaside. By bicycle the various nature reserves in the green hart of Holland that are ideal for walks and recreation are only minutes away. Woerden is not only famous because of its farmer’s cheese and cattle markets but also because of its old architecture expressed in a number of objects among which a castle, a large windmill and various old churches and museums which all can be visited. Other monuments include the “Arsenal,” an old military building from the year 1762, the “Pastorie“ an old vicarage from1672, the “Petruskerk,” a church built in 1673, the ”Kruijthuis” where in former days gunpowder was stored built in 1784, the “Kazerne,” former military barracks from 1790, the “Klooster,” an old monastery from 1899, presently used as a cultural centre where all year around performances are staged. The “Water tower” from 1845, the Lutheran Church is from 1646, the St Bonaventura church was erected in 1892 and still sits as a major landmark in the centre of Woerden.

Yesterday all servers in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more RAM and better CPUs. A spokes person said that the need for better RAM was due to some fool increasing the front-side bus speed. In future, busses will be told to slow down in residential motherboards. |
